Good Thursday Morning.
Some of you had, um, some thoughts on the #FleetwoodMac challenge.
The Fleetwood Mac/cranberry challenge is the most idiotic thing I ever saw.
A comment on the F-MAC tweets and all that. If you take a giant step back and consider the vast amount of spend and resources on cloud services and data farms on a global basis, all to support social media activity that in the great analysis do not advance the culture or human evolution, it is a sad commentary on where we prioritize things. Just saying...
Had not seen the ocean spray and fleetwood mac video but somehow it's incredibly satisfying.

Question 1: Do you think the health of the President is a private matter or a public matter?
Overwhelmingly, folks agree it’s a public matter.
Trump / Pence
Biden / Harris
Undecided
Third Party voters unanimously said it’s a public matter.
Question 2: Do you think the health of a Presidential candidate (who is not President) is a private matter or a public matter?
While folks again unanimously agree that it’s a public matter, the splits — with both Trump voters and Biden voters — were slightly less definitive.
Trump / Pence
Biden / Harris
Undecided voters and Third Party voters both mirrored their responses to Question 1.
Question 3: Yesterday, President Trump shut down negotiations with Congress over a new coronavirus relief stimulus package. Whom, if anyone, do you blame for the break down in negotiations?
Trump / Pence
Biden / Harris
A plurality of Undecided voters and all Third Party voters place the blame on both sides. The rest of the Undecided voters were evenly split between The White House, Congress and “Neither side / I don’t know”.
Maybe if the Democrats didn’t want to just give away money then Trump would be able to do another stimulus package.
Why are you neglecting to mention that Trump actually IS providing more relief after it was said last night that he wasn’t?
At 2:48pm EDT, the President tweeted:
As Fox News wrote, “The tweet appeared to end the months-long efforts between Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin — who spoke for an hour on Monday and briefly on Tuesday — to strike a deal.”
Then, at 9:54pm EDT, the President tweeted:
And then at 10:18pm EDT, the President tweeted:
The negotiations broke down, and the President then reversed course. No relief has been provided, and while the stand alone relief bills may still be under consideration, according to White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, “the stimulus negotiations are off”.
If you don’t think both sides are to blame for covid relief no one can help you.
regarding the blame question. they’re all terrible and all to blame
Question 4: One member of the Tinaverse suggested we check in on a question we've asked a few times before: Do you know someone personally who has had COVID?
I personally know over 20 people who have had covid - two had to be hospitalized, but are recovering well (knock on wood). At this point, I feel like you would have to be living under a rock to not know anyone.
We never get trick or treaters but I plan on continuing our annual tradition of pretending we might and buying Halloween candy for us to eat
I don’t want to be painted as the house that doesn’t give out candy!!!
Question 5: On a scale of 0 (the worst) to 10 (the best), how are you doing overall?
We’ve told our child Halloween is cancelled this year bc of corona virus. Which was going really well until he saw candy in the store and decorations on homes in our neighborhood...
Come on! You had to know you weren’t going to be able to keep the ruse going forever.

Today’s title reference: “Fly Away” by Lenny Kravitz.
Yes, that was also a fly reference.
