Good Wednesday Morning.
Yesterday, we shared a comment from one member of the Tinaverse asking for some advice on moving forward and staying positive. One of our fellow members weighed in:
I look forward to hearing the answers on how people are moving forward and staying positive. My primary contribution to the discussion is being open to seeing a therapist. I've been seeing one for years, and they have really helped with a number of issues. Don't be self-conscious or scared of therapy, it's one of the best things you can do for yourself if you're truly suffering.
Also, a follow up to yesterday’s follow up to last week’s comment about the benefits of leaves.
1) TY to the person who followed up with their comment - restored a tiny bit of faith in humanity! Lol

Question 1: Which of the following best describes you and your intention to vote?
Both sides are pretty committed.
Trump / Pence
Biden / Harris
Third Party aren’t going to budge. 100% answered “Committed”.
Curious what would change someone’s mind about the presidential race at this point...
FWIW, about 4% of the Tinaverse is still undecided.
Liked the committed question, but always subject to change if something dramatic would happen in next 28 days. Neither primary candidate are ideal choices as evidenced from debate.
Generally, I would be considered a swing voter because I'm not party loyal. I vote based on what I think is best for the country. However, I will never vote for Trump.
I think it's important to note that while it may be tracked that most of Tinaverse users are Democrat based on who we've said we plan to vote for... I plan on voting for Biden as a Republican. *shrug emoji*
Question 2: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: The White House has done an adequate job of providing the American people with updates on the President's health.
Trump / Pence
Biden / Harris
Undecided voters mostly disagreed (67%), though some (33%) agreed.
About half of Third Party voters agreed while the other half weren’t sure.
President Trump is taking Dexamethasone, a steroid that can induce feelings of euphoria and invincibility. Having taken a steroid, I know that feeling firsthand. That is probably why he is saying that he feels better than he did 20 years ago and is acting and speaking as though he has beaten the virus. How irresponsible of him to return to the White House and immediately remove his mask upon entering. What about the risk to all the people working there. They will not have access to experimental drugs if they get Covid.
Question 3: Would you say you’re scared of the coronavirus?
Trump / Pence
Biden / Harris
About two-thirds of Undecided voters said “Sometimes yes, sometimes”, while the rest said “No, not really”.
Half of Third Party voters said “No, not really”, with the rest split evenly between “Yes, I am” and “Sometimes yes, sometimes no”.
I don’t understand the concept of “living in fear” of the coronavirus. It’s contagious, we don’t know the long-term effects, and it can be lethal. Clearly there’s reason to fear it. But wearing a mask, washing your hands frequently, and maintaining physical distance seem to prevent it. Do those things. Your freedoms will remain intact. What’s the big deal?
I drive at least 60 miles a day. There are crazy drivers out there and I’m aware that I could die any time I get on the highway even if I do everything right. Am I “living in fear” of driving because I acknowledge the risks and take proper precautions? Maybe the Meaning of Life is simply to put off dying as long as possible.
I don’t live in fear of coronavirus but that doesn’t mean I’m reckless with my health either. I’ve been exercising this whole time everything has been shut down and taking vitamins and I feel great.
Question 4: Finally, have you had any Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice or listened to Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" in the last two weeks?
so is Tina sponsored by Ocean Spray now?
Not quite.
I have drunk Knob Creek Whiskey and listened to Afternoon Spray (Tyhmens and Saperstein) this week. Does that count?
Not sure if the last question regarding cranberry juice or listening to an old Fleetwood Mac song was relevant.
How wrong you are, my friend. Buckle up, folks.
This video — of this Idaho man (Nathan Apodaca) skateboarding, while drinking Ocean Spray, while soundtracking Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” — went viral on social media.
And so, the #FleetwoodMacChallenge was born.
The song had its greatest week of on-demand streaming ever, streaming 8.47 million times and introducing the 1977 classic to a new generation. The video even caught the attention of the band’s Twitter account.
But if players only love you when they’re playin’, Mick Fleetwood is a straight player.
