Happy Friday.
Some dispatches from the Tinaverse:
Vote.Vote.Vote.
I’m not sure why, but when I read this, I saw *NSync doing the “Bye, Bye, Bye” dance.
forget summer, give me a slight chill in the air and a hoodie every day
I’m sorry, but if you keep this up, we’re going to have to ask you to leave.
This goes out to two of the other members of the Tinaverse who made the comment about cold weather starting and who questioned about leave raking: 🌞☀️It's too hot to hear you down south 🍊🌴
Finally, President Trump announced early this morning on Twitter that he and the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19.
This situation is still developing, and while there will be much to talk about in the days ahead, we won’t cover it in today’s questions.

Question 1: For which Presidential ticket do you plan to vote this November?
Carroll / Patel (American Solidarity), Hawkins / Walker (Green) and “I’m not going to vote” all got some votes too.
Question 2: In which type of workplace would you prefer to work: A workplace that restricts employees from talking politics at work? Or a workplace where folks can talk openly about politics?
Trump / Pence
Biden / Harris
Undecided
Third Party
How can a workplace restrict what you talk about?
Coinbase, a digital currency exchange platform, recently told its employees the company would not “debate causes or political candidates internally” and offered a severance package for employees who don’t feel comfortable with this new direction.
I’m torn about discussing politics in the office. I have interesting, enjoyable conversations with some of my coworkers who like a different party than I do. However, there are others who start screaming and think their opinion is the only one.
I like a workplace where everyone is free to discuss politics, but nobody does.
Question 3: One member of the Tinaverse wants to know: If a COVID vaccine is not readily available, will you feel safe to gather with family and friends this holiday season?
We WONT have a vaccine by November (according to all relevant and reliable scientific sources) so that is really a misleading question.
As this comment points out, the Director of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recently told lawmakers that a COVID vaccine won’t be widespread until mid-2021.
It’s not that I don't feel comfortable gathering with family for the holidays bc there’s no vaccine, I just never feel comfortable gathering with my family. That should have been an option.
Can we explore feelings vs behavior on question #3. Will you feel safe (today's questions) and then will you do it anyway?
Check out today’s questions.
Question 4: As the leaves start to change, one member of the Tinaverse wants to know: Do you rake your leaves or use a leaf blower?
I use a leafblower and a rake like any responsible adult with a need for either.
You weren’t the only one who made this point.
Lawn mower works just as well to pick up leaves
Don’t rake and bag your leaves! They’re really important for
Really important for… what?! This comment got cut off right as it was getting to the good part!
Question 5: Do you have your Halloween costume picked out yet?
I don't have a Halloween Costume but did buy a Halloween Disney Villain Mask.
We’re going to need some more specifics, friend.
I'm curious, for the folks who have Halloween costumes picked out already, where they plan to wear them?
You asked about picking out a costume, but is Halloween even happening?
Ask about favorite seasons, and the Tinaverse is all “we love fall!” and “foliage!” and “sweater weather!” and “spooky szn!”, but now y’all are giving up on Halloween? Don’t give up. Don’t ever give up.
Maybe the real Halloween will be the friends we make along the way.
Are there adults that actually dress up in a costume for Halloween, even if they aren’t attending an event for Halloween? I leave the pretending to the children because I feel like this is for their enjoyment.
I won't be dressing up for Halloween because I am a grown-ass man.
