Good Monday Morning.
A few comments came in from the Tinaverse over the weekend…
My family member who has been unemployed for 4 months just got a job offer! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Great way to head into the weekend. 😊
YES! GREAT news!
Just want to weigh in on the folklore comment. I don’t play songs on endless repeat but that “album” has been as close to endless repeat as I’ve gotten in a long time. I said no to the song question cuz I don’t often repeat single song.
I don’t want to admit how many times I listened to it… just this weekend.
Luv u
Luv u back!

50 days until Election Day.
Share Tina
Until we can get a Tina sign for your window or front lawn or a Tina bumper sticker for your car, why don’t you share Tina with a family member or friend or that one neighbor who annoys the hell out of you.

Question 1: For which Presidential ticket do you plan to vote this November?
Question 2: On a scale of 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree), how much do you disagree or agree with the following statement: My freedoms and liberties have been infringed during the coronavirus pandemic.
Trump / Pence
That’s an average of 2.6.
Biden / Harris
That’s an average of 1.1.
Undecided / Third Party
That’s an average of 2.3.
I feel more threatened by people who don't observe social distancing guidelines/refuse to wear masks than any government restrictions around covid.
On the question of freedom during the pandemic...the NY/NJ/CT quarantine, though understandable, is tough for us folks in ‘designated’ states with close family members in NY and NJ which we are not ‘free’ to visit...even with social distancing.
Question 3: [ To those who have been dating during the pandemic. ] Have those dates been mostly on video chat, mostly in person or about an even mix of both?
My dates have been few and far between, but I’ve definitely come to prefer meeting up in-person (outdoors) instead of video chatting. Most of my dates have been walks or hikes, which is nice! But I guess that might be more difficult as we move towards winter....
Question 4: [ To those who have been dating during the pandemic. ] Are you more or less likely to go on a date with someone if it’s over video?
Question 5: Another member of the Tinaverse wants to know: If you could see a live performance by any musician, dead or alive, who would it be?
The answers here were all over the place… Buckle up.
At the risk of sounding super basic, probs the Beatles
You aren’t alone. The Beatles were the top pick.
Can't wait to hear all the New Jersey folks go off on how good Bruce Springsteen is...
New Jersey folks:
The original lineup of Fleetwood Mac, "Rumours" era, would be amazing.
Jerry Garcia in his prime followed by Duane Allman
Jimi Hendrix. Voodoo Child (Slight Return). If you don't feel that wah-wah pedal in your soul, you're not human.
Queen OR another Garth Brooks concert... absolutely magnificent!
That’s an eclectic combo. The ringtone on my old Motorola RAZR were those first few guitar strums of “Friends in Low Places”.
Michael Jackson, I'm not even a fan but he was a superstar
Well, we bought tickets to see Michael Buble in April, but it got cancelled. That would have been nice!
Dirty Heads... Or Johnny Cash just playing When the Man Comes around. Fitting RN.
Johnny Cash’s American IV is a hauntingly beautiful, and his rendition of “Danny Boy” will get me… every. dang. time.
Probably a side effect of Nashville...but i think I'd wanna see Dolly Parton. (My music taste is all over the place so it could be different tomorrow)
Dolly Parton is a treasure.
Robert Fripp / King Crimson
Frank Sinatra / Dean Martin / Judy Garland
Biggie
Jimmy Buffett
Prince
Some folks had some contemporary choices… Shakira, John Legend, Scooter, The Killers, Harry Styles, Avicii, Rage Against the Machine, Tame Impala, Judah and the Lion, Ed Sheeran, Macklemore and Kristin Chenoweth.
But we also had some more classical choices… Rachmanioff, Sir Georg Solti, Vladimir Horowitz and Joseph Bologne, Le Chevalier de Saint-Georges.
This is tough.. in my house we listen to everything from old country, to 2000s emo kid, to alt rock, to rap... I really couldn't say just one
Oh wow. I want to hang out at your house. How old are we talking when you say “old country”? Like… Randy Travis or Conway Twitty? If a playlist doesn’t go from Loretta Lynn to Motion City Soundtrack to Tupac, I don’t want to hear it.
Question 5: On a scale of 0 (the worst) to 10 (the best), how are you doing overall?
That’s an average of 7.2, which is an increase of the last few weeks.
Make it all the way through but forget to answer today’s questions?
