Good Wednesday Morning.
Some follow-ups to some things raised yesterday:
i LOVE mezcal <3
It’s time to break tina’s anonymity pledge. Hunt down the candy corn eaters and PUT THEM OUT OF THEIR MISERY!!!!!!!
This has gotten out of hand.
Another $0.02 on reading different perspectives across political spectrum: allsides.com is a great website. For another daily email (not trying to compete with Tina!) The Flip Side sends a daily email with excerpts from news pieces on both sides of aisle. I agree with my fellow Tinaversian that it has made me more moderate helps me appreciate that there is plenty of mudslinging on both sides as well as other views than I experience on a daily basis with friends/coworkers
Always happy to support the email newsletter medium! But, you know, make sure you keep Talking to Tina. And ask your friends and family members to do the same by clicking the Share Tina button below.
Those other newsletters are great, but they don’t ask for your opinion every day, do they? Didn’t think so.
Speaking of which, we’ve got some more questions today, so click the Let’s Talk button to get started.

Question 1: With just one week to go until Election Day, have you already cast or mailed-in your ballot?
Wow. Over 2/3 of the Tinaverse has already voted. And nobody is planning to not vote.
I need to get out and early vote but... will probably put it off until election day
Question 2: One member of the Tinaverse wants to know if you agree or disagree with the following statement: Most of my family members have voted or are planning to vote the same way I'm voting.
In regards to how my family members are voting- most of my immediate family is voting the same way as I am, but my extended family is more of a mixed bag.
Question 3: Similarly, do you agree or disagree with the following statement: Most of my friends have voted or are planning to vote the same way I'm voting.
While both friends and family are high, it’s interesting that family members is slightly higher than friends.
Question 4: Another Tinaversian wants to know whether you agree or disagree with this statement: While he was Vice President, Joe Biden inappropriately used his office to make money for himself and his family.
The Biden corruption scandal is somewhat disturbing, but has not been conclusive yet as to whether the VP himself did anything wrong yet. I do think that if Trump had to endure 3 years of Russia probe to no end, this at least merits some further serious investigation instead of the denial and cover up we're seeing in much of the media with this story.
Hunter Biden made money off of his dad's position, but I don't think Joe did anything untoward. I don't understand why Trump thinks that the Hunter Biden story is such a winning issue when his family has made millions off his own presidency?
Anyone that believes, truly believes Biden is up for the task of president is simply a Hater. No thought has been applied.
In response to your question regarding Slow Joe, he is a crook and his son should be arrested. He is a perfect example of a socialist government that the United States will become if he is elected. I am fearful for my children’s future. I can’t believe people actually like him. I would love for you to make a question: name three things about Biden that you like or what he will do for you. But you won’t be you NEVER post anything from a Republican’s point of view without a snarky comment.
Question 5: Recently, the FBI foiled a plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. One member of the Tinaverse wants to know: Should the United States government treat this foiled plot as a case of terrorism?
Terrorism is defined in the Code of Federal Regulations as “the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives” (28 C.F.R. Section 0.85). So yeah, Bugaloo boys/Proud boys or whomever attempted to take MI/VA Governor, are most certainly fitting of the definition of terrorism.
On #5, the kidnap plot: The whole thing reminds me of the Freemen in Jordan, Montana, back in 1996 (I think). They were basically check kiters, and not good at it. The gov't wasted resources, and the networks blathered over a non-story. It would be better if both estates concerned themselves with more substantial threats.
Today I learned about the “Montana Freeman” case, and I imagine some other members of the Tinaverse did too.
Question 6: Another Tinaversian wants to know: Which, if any, of the following activities have you done for any campaign this election cycle?
I personally think displaying your political views is cringeworthy, regardless of which party you support. If politics are a part of your personality you sound like an annoying person.
Question 7: For what type of campaign(s) did you do those activities?
Make it all the way through but forget to answer today’s questions?
