Good Wednesday Morning.
The coronavirus pandemic has changed so much about all of our daily lives, but has it changed the way you view humanity? Do you see more positives now? Or do you see more negatives? Or is it just too complicated? Today, we’d like to know what you think.
We’ve also got some questions about the Federal Reserve, mask wearing around friends and family and mysterious seeds arriving in your mailbox. Click on the Let’s Talk button to get started.

Question 1: Would you support or oppose making Election Day a national holiday?
Not that you asked, but in addition to making Election Day a Federal holiday, we should make some serious changes to ways of voting. We need to make voting easy, accessible and fair, and technology can certainly help with that. There is no reason anyone should be required to stand in line for hours to vote.
Question 2: If you tested positive for COVID and your doctor recommended hydroxychloroquine as a treatment, would you follow your doctor's recommendation?
The question about Hydroxychloroquine is really interesting. I understand the risks involved, but I also trust my doctor. If this person, who is a medical professional, is telling me to take this drug, then I think I will put my apprehension aside and trust them.
I would pretty much follow the advice of any doctor I trust who follows evidence based practice. I hate that everything about Covid has become political, even the treatment. However, I also believe don’t believe anyone should be hawking treatments through media outlets or politicians.
Q2 feels like a misleading question. If your doctor prescribes hydroxychloroquine, you should probably find a new doctor that actually follows clinical guidelines. If you're doctor prescribed drinking bleach, you also should find a new doctor.
Don’t drink bleach. Also, and I say this from experience I’d rather not discuss any further, you probably shouldn’t use it to give yourself frosted tips either.
Worth noting: on July 1, the FDA released a statement cautioning against the use of hydroxychloroquine outside of a hospital or clinical trial.
Question 3: Are you working from home?
The work from home crowd remains high in the Tinaverse.
Poor cat is going to be upset when we start working in the office again. Won't be anytime soon though.
Question 4: If you could work from home indefinitely, would you?
Some really enjoy working from home…
Re: WFH - I have been full time remote for over 6 years now, and I'm not sure I can ever go back to an office. Living the dream!
But it’s deeply difficult for others.
I desperately want to get back to the office. Working from home is extremely isolating and taking a toll on my mental health.
Many of you shared comments like the one below, saying you wouldn’t mind going back into your place of work some days but you’d like to have the flexibility to work from home on others.
There should be a "both" option for the "work from home" question. I miss being in the office sometimes, but definitely wouldn't want to go back to going in every day. 2 days in, 3 days from home would probably be ideal.
Question 5: Denim sales have reportedly plummeted during the pandemic. What is your best estimate for how many times you have worn denim jeans since the beginning of the pandemic?
I, like the majority, am in the 1-5 camp. (I’ve worn jeans — or any “hard pants”, for that matter — exactly three times, thank you.)
I've been in t shirt and shorts four months and counting . Why would I ever want to don a pair of chinos again
I don’t think you would.
We have a rule around here: If you don't wear pants with a button at least twice a week, in two weeks, your pants won't button. Also, I spend about 90% of my day on video calls.
That’s a strict, but perhaps necessary, rule.
Question 5, I also had a baby in October, so I basically haven’t worn jeans in like a year and a half. No plans on going back, leggings are life.
But what about for those of us without that excuse…? (A belated congratulations, too!)
