Question 1: Though it’s early, do you approve or disapprove of the job Joe Biden is doing as President?
Due to the Bernie sitting meme and WallStreetBets, I haven’t heard anything about the Biden Administration
The Tinaverse largely approves of Biden’s job so far, but not everyone agrees:
Would like to hear who voted for Biden and why? What are people’s thoughts on his frenzy of trying to undo everything Trump did over the last four years? 11 thousand jobs will be lost and two billion dollars in wages from the pipeline. Why did we rejoin WHO and Paris climate accord to give money away? Why does Biden not even know what he’s signing? Are the millennials happy Biden got in and if so why? Why would we buy Game Stop shares when the market is so shaky these days? Yes, indeed. Lots to discuss next week!
We’ll ask about many of these issues in the days ahead. Stay tuned.

Question 2: Which of these terms describes you best?
Members of the Tinaverse largely view themselves as moderate, though our community does lean towards the left. One member had a suggestion:
You should add fascist to your list of political affiliations. Not because this is a label that should be used to label your political opponents willy nilly but because there is a scholarly understanding for what fascism is and the GOP currently has a number of these characteristics:
A sharp focus on immigrants/race as the scapegoat for joblessness
Making conspiracy theories a core part of the party. State GOPs are posting references to Q on their official social media accounts.
Anti-democratic actions such as 2 ID voter requirement in GA and potential legislation in AZ that allows the state legislature to override the secretary of state's election certification.
Creation of unreality. Trump screamed voter fraud, but this isn't what his lawyers were presenting in court even. The Big Lie.
Dehumanization of political opponents. Elected GOP congressman have advocated for assassinating the Speaker.
This is a major problem. Highly recommend "How Fascism Works" by Jason Stanley.
Question 3: When it’s made available to you, do you plan on getting the COVID-19 vaccine?
I’m not planning to get the vaccine only because I already contracted the virus. Had I not, I would get the vaccine after everyone else.
Question 4: Did you buy or sell any shares of GameStop this week?
Only 3 people in the Tinaverse said “Yes”, but…
Watching CNBC this morning, it was funny to watch all the Hedge Fund people say that what was happening with GameStop was illegal. For years, the Hedgers gamed the system and basically used the stock market as a casino and benefitted from government bailouts when they lost. (hmmm-looks like socialism). I am on #TeamReddit
