Good Wednesday Morning.
Over the last few days, President Trump has been tweeting a lot that schools need to reopen this fall, including:
Today, we’ll talk about that. We’ve also got some questions about the Trump Administration withdrawing the United States from the World Health Organization and public shaming on the internet. Click on the Let’s Talk button to get started.

Question 1: Have you watched the made-for-streaming version of Hamilton that came to Disney Plus on July 3?
At the risk of making people angry and sounding like I’m bragging, I haven’t watched Hamilton yet on Disney+ because I’m afraid it might tarnish my memory of seeing the original broadway cast live in 2016!
Was lucky to see Hamilton at a the Hippodrome in Baltimore...great show!
I haven't watched Hamilton because I am currently on a Disney strike. Not sure if Tina users are aware, but as a lot of media is switching to streaming services such as Disney+, Disney has refused to update musicians contracts to pay them royalties for the soundtracks to Disney media. I have many friends who have played on these soundtracks who are losing money because of this, so I can't bring myself to give Disney my money.
Over 30% of those who watched Hamilton said it gave them more feelings of patriotism.
Question 2: Should the United States offer temporary visas to Hong Kong citizens who are seeking to flee Hong Kong following China’s passage of the new national security law?
Question 3: Should the United States allow international students whose colleges and universities are fully online this fall to remain in the country?
Re: international students - this needs to be understood with nuance. We can't set a precedent that anyone enrolled in "online classes" can be here on a student visa. That's simply untenable given the number of people who want to live here and the ease with which you can enroll in online classes. It may feel unfair, but American students wishing to live in other countries on various types of visas also face strict rules. Our country has big problems to deal with right now; the woes of rich international kids and elite higher ed issues are not top of mind for the average person.
I am appalled at this F-1 visa shit. Curious to know how many people are also outraged
Question 4: Have you donated to a Presidential campaign this campaign cycle?
I donated to The Lincoln Project, which I suppose is similar to donating to the Biden campaign, but my motivation was more anti-Trump than pro-Biden so I didn't check the box for that.
Question 5: Have you taken up any outdoor hobbies as a result of COVID-19?
Oh shoot, I may have lied. Was gardening an option on the last question? If so, I meant gardening.
So add one more gardener.
I have not taken up any new outdoor activities, but I have ramped up the running (and core) since that is the only time I get to leave the house during the day.
Many of you had similar comments — while you haven’t taken up any new hobbies, the quarantine has given you more time to do the hobbies you already had. Other new hobbies include growing mushrooms, disc golf and growing marijuana.
Oh, and “sunbathing nude”.
